Valley Veterinary Center (ValleyVetPA.com) is a friendly, privately owned, independent veterinary practice with three locations in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We are looking for a small-animal veterinarian to join our growing team.
We welcome both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. Our goal is to provide an environment where doctors can practice excellent medicine with clinical autonomy, strong technician support, and a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to dogs and cats.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases.
Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and compassionate care.
Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; additional surgical interests are encouraged.
Participate in wellness, urgent-care, and chronic disease management.
Collaborate with our experienced veterinarians on challenging cases and treatment plans.
Work closely with our veterinary technicians and support staff.
Maintain thorough medical records and high standards of patient care.
Contribute to a positive, respectful, team-oriented practice culture.
For veterinarians interested in leadership, there are opportunities for additional clinical responsibilities, mentoring, and future leadership roles.
Requirements
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Pennsylvania veterinary license or eligibility for licensure.
New graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome to apply.
Strong interest in high-quality small-animal medicine and surgery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-doctor practice.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to patient care.
Interest in surgery and dentistry is encouraged but not required.
Experienced veterinarians with strong surgical skills are especially encouraged to apply.
Salary
Experienced veterinarians: $160,000+ guaranteed base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, plus production-based compensation. New graduates: Competitive starting salary with a structured compensation plan and mentorship.
We offer compensation designed to be competitive with or exceed comparable opportunities in the Bucks County/Greater Philadelphia market.

Patient Caseload
Our practices see a diverse small-animal caseload consisting primarily of dogs and cats, with an established client base and a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and comprehensive general practice.

Wellness and preventive care
Internal medicine
Dermatology and allergies
Gastrointestinal and endocrine disease
Senior and chronic disease management
Urgent and same-day cases
Routine soft-tissue surgery
Dentistry and oral surgery
Dental radiography
Mass removals and biopsies
Spays and neuters
Wound management
Other routine GP surgical procedures
We have multiple veterinarians with strong surgical interests, providing opportunities to develop a meaningful surgical caseload.
New graduates will have experienced colleagues available for mentorship and case consultation, while experienced veterinarians will have the autonomy to practice at their full level of capability.
